Book Talk Hello! I am Hela. I am going to tell you about the book called ‘Marry Poppins’. The author is P.L. Travers and the story was made in 1934. There are two more books. Last year, my mother ordered many books from ‘school lastic’. She left those books in a self in my room. When they first arrived, I just read the easy ones. Few months later, other books arrived again. I started to read those books because it was a waste of money if I don’t read those books. ‘Marry Poppins is my last book that is finished. After the book, I watched the movie. The book was about à In Michael and Jane’s house, one more nanny quite the job because they were too naughty. Their father worked at bank, he always didn’t listen to the kids. When the family was finding a new nanny, Marry Poppins came. She floated in the sky and slowly came down to there house. Finaly, Marry Poppins became the nanny of Michael and Jane. Marry Poppins was different from other nannies. She doesn’t teach manners or give strick rules. She was the best nanny ever to Michael and Jane. I liked this book because the topic ‘nanny’ was new for me and the book had lots of good ideas. I didn’t like this book because the setting (time) was old for me. You can read this book and also enjoy and compare the movie. You can also practice your visualizing skills.
